Trenton Wastewater Treatment Plant - Biosolids Storage

The existing Wastewater Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) in Trenton requires upgrades to its bio-solid processing and storage facilities. As the first phase of the improvements, a 3000 m3 storage tank will be erected on the site of the existing Trenton WPCP. Proposed upgrades will incorporate provisions to store bio-solids from the Batawa and Frankford WPCP's. The project is proceeding as a Schedule B Class EA of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Process.

Trenton Wastewater Treatment Plant - Expansion

The City of Quinte West (the City) is initiating a planning process to expand the City's sewage treatment capacity. The City has identified that the Trenton WWTP is nearing its rated capacity for wastewater flows and treatment, and measures must be taken to ensure adequate capacity exists for future demands and growth in the community. The project is being carried out with the requirements for a Schedule C project under the Terms of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) process, which is approved under the Environmental Assessment Act.

Frankford Wastewater Treatment Plant - Expansion

The City of Quinte West (the City) is initiating a planning process to expand the City's sewage treatment capacity, including the related collection system in the service area. The City has identified that the Frankford WWTP is nearing its rated capacity for wastewater flows and treatment, and measures must be taken to ensure adequate capacity exists for future demands and growth in the community. The project is being carried out with the requirements for a Schedule B project under the Terms of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) process, which is approved under the Environmental Assessment Act.

Trenton Water Treatment Plant - Short Intake Expansion

The City of Quinte West (the City) is initiating a planning process to extend the shallow intake at the Trenton WTP as well as a capacity review of the existing treatment process. The project is being carried out with the requirements for a Schedule B project under the Terms of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) process, which is approved under the Environmental Assessment Act.
